Palo Alto, CA
Hi there! I'm a Designer, mostly working with UX & UI design. Right now I’m having the time of my life working at HiHello, a startup working on a better way to exchange contacts and manage relationships.
I majored in Human Centered Design & Engineering with a concentration in human-computer interaction (HCI) andgraduated June 2017.
As you look at my work, you'll see I'm fluent in design thinking and use a highly principled design process. Many of my projects revolve around designing for social problems and building a closer bond between individuals.
During my senior year at UW, I was heavily involved in K-12 outreach for Human Centered Design & Engineering.
Many young students never hear about human centered design or see women in tech. I was part of several teams leading workshops at middle schools on human centered design. At my graduation ceremony, I was awarded alongside my Alternative Spring Break team for community service.
Study Abroad in Amsterdam
During Summer 2016, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Amsterdam for 3 months.
My program was focused on Design & Society in the Netherlands with a focus on speculative design. This was a fascinating subject, as Amsterdam is an entirely designed city and the country has a rich history. We travelled to different artists and designers around the country to study their work.
